Here is a little non-scientific experiment...

Dear 338Canada readers,

Here is a little non-scientific experiment I would like to share with you all.

Here are two short scenarios. You have to choose the one you would prefer. No third choice. Be honest.

Answer me on social media (FB or Twitter... or even Reddit if someone cares to share this post). Here we go:

Option A:
Your favorite federal party, the one you currently support, loses the next election. However, that party will remain competitive for a long time and could win in future elections.

Option B:
Your favorite federal party, the one you currently support, wins the next election. However, the party will then remain in power indefinitely, probably for all of your life.

Which one would you choose?

Explain your choice. Short answers only, please. Be brief, be straightforward.
